Growth Through Alliance
We are building Wilsons Security as a leading home and commercial security services provider through alliances with established high performers in the field.
In our early years, we formed a partnership with Sure Safe Security, a company with over 20 years in the security business, to make their expertise available to our customers. We then welcomed the management and staff from AML Security and North Eastern Alarm to build our commercial security expertise and to provide service coverage throughout northern Nova Scotia.
In 2013 we partnered with DNS Systems to offer structured wiring solutions for new homes, and shortly after, we welcomed the customers and employees of Guardsman Security Systems, an established provider of security solutions in Nova Scotia.
We expanded into New Brunswick with the purchase of Moncton-based Third Eye Security in 2018, and we have since partnered with two Halifax based security companies: Power Security, which specializes in residential and commercial security, and AEL Security Ltd, a highly successful Fire Protection and Life Safety business. We also welcomed the employees and customers of Provincial Alarm in Prince Edward Island and expanded into St. John’s, Newfoundland.
The following year, we partnered with United Alarms in North Sydney, Nova Scotia as well as Cannon Security in New Brunswick, which furthers our commitment to providing exceptional, locally-based service to our clients.
In early 2021, we were delighted to welcome the staff and clients of Ammar International, Inc., allowing us to bring the Wilsons Experience to clients in Edmonton, Alberta, and marking our first step outside of Atlantic Canada.
With these acquisitions, we are now the largest and most experienced security team in Atlantic Canada, and a respected security solutions provider across Canada. With our highly experienced technical team, a network of sub-contractors across the country, and our focus on remarkable, local service, we now serve over 10,000 customer sites from coast to coast in Canada.
